Six Eastern Iowa School Districts Set to Vote on Bond Proposals

(Cedars Rapids, IA) -- Six school districts in Eastern Iowa are holding votes on new bonds to fund projects and other district needs.

The polls to vote on the bonds are open Tuesday from 7 am to 8 pm.

Anamosa schools are asking voters for about $16 million, the Edgewood-Coleburg districts are asking for more than $12 million, and Waterloo schools are asking for a $20 million bond.

Maquoketa Valley and Hudson districts are asking for a tax levy, and Tipton schools are asking for both a bond and tax levy.
