(La Vista, NE) -- Leaders with Papillion La Vista Community Schools are considering a nearly $129.9-million bond proposal for school improvements. District leaders say the money would be spent on elementary school improvements, building a new elementary school, and buying ground for a new middle school. Some of the money would also be used to build an athletic facility at Papillion La Vista High School, much like the one at Papillion La Vista South High School. The Omaha World Herald reports school leaders hope a tax levy increase won't be necessary to pay for the proposal.
