(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- No one is hurt after a fire above a Cedar Rapids restaurant on the first floor of a commercial building.
Fire crews responded to reports of the fire at 1203 3rd St. SE around 5:30pm Thursday evening on the second floor of the building.
Investigators say when firefighters arrived, they found a light fixture on the ceiling burning. Crews were able to put the fire out quickly. The Chrome Horse, the restaurant on the ground floor of the building, was evacuated while fire crews put out the fire on the second floor, but the restaurant has since reopened.
No one was hurt in the fire.
