(Iowa) -- Des Moines' largest private employer is announcing a 10th round of layoffs in the area.
Wells Fargo will lay of another 36 workers in the Des Moines metro, effective November 22nd, according to Iowa Workforce Development. The layoffs will include Wells Fargo locations in Ankeny, Clive, Des Moines, and West Des Moines. This the company's second layoff announcement this month. The recently announced layoffs include:
- 1 employee in Ankeny
- 1 employee in Clive
- 17 employees in Des Moines
- 17 employees in West Des Moines
Earlier in September, the company announced plans to lay off 75 employees throughout the Des Moines metro. Iowa Workforce Development reports Wells Fargo has laid off hundreds of employees throughout the Des Moines area since April of this year.
