(Iowa) -- The Iowa Department of Natural Resources' weekly fall color report as we head into the fall.
The DNR report says peak fall color viewing is just a few weeks away. The best viewing times will vary across the state, including:
- Northeast Iowa: October 10th-15th
- North Central and Northwest Iowa: October 8th-14th
- Central Iowa: October 15th-23rd
- Southeast Iowa: October 20th
- West Central and Southwest Iowa: 2nd and 3rd weeks of October.
The DNR will publish weekly fall color reports throughout the season.
