Omaha film historian Bruce Crawford's next "Omaha Film Event" historical screening is "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein," which he says broke the mold.
"Very rare to do that," Crawford says. "How can you make them funny and scary at the same time, and they achieved it with Abbott and Costello."
The screening will be Friday, October 21st at 7 p.m. at the "Omaha Community Playhouse."
The special guest will be Ron Chaney, grandson of the film's co-star Lon Chaney Jr., who played the iconic "Wolf Man" in the film.
