(Davenport, IA) -- The Davenport City Council approves a plan to turn 3rd and 4th Streets into two-way streets.
The council approved the proposal in a split vote at its meeting on Wednesday, with Mayor Mike Matson casting the tie-breaking vote in favor of the change. The project will cost around $1.7 million dollars, and construction is expected to start in the spring or summer of next year.
