(Iowa) -- The only debate in the Iowa Governor's race will take place tonight.
Republican incumbent governor Kim Reynolds and Democratic Challenger Deidre DeJear will debate for an hour at 7pm, broadcast on Iowa Public Television. Reynolds is seeking her second full term after becoming governor in 2017 when then-governor Terry Branstad became the U.S. Ambassador to China. She went on to be elected to her first full term in 2018. Challenger Deidre DeJear is an Iowa businesswoman and activist.
