(Douglas County, NE) -- Voter registration deadlines are approaching ahead of the 2022 Statewide Gubernatorial General Election.
“Friday, October 21, 2022 is the deadline to register to vote using any method other than coming to the Election Commission office in person,” said Brian W. Kruse, Douglas County Election Commissioner. “If voters miss this deadline, they can still register in person at our office until 6:00 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2022.”
- Deadline for online registrations, prior to midnight - Friday, October 21, 2022
- Deadline for mailed registrations to be postmarked - Friday, October 21, 2022
- Deadline for voter registration at DMV offices, state agencies, Omaha Public Library locations, or by deputy registrars - Friday, October 21, 2022
- Deadline for voter registration forms to be delivered to the election office by someone other than the person registering - Friday, October 21, 2022
Voters may confirm their polling place and political districts and view their precinct-specific ballot by visiting the Election Commission website at and entering their house number and zip code in the “Find Your Voting Information” area or by calling (402) 444-VOTE (8683) during business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
