The former director of CASA, "Court Appointed Special Advocates," in Sarpy County is indicted by a federal grand jury in Nebraska.
The grand jury hands up the indictment on 51-year-old Paula Creps of Papillion; five counts of mail fraud;
Creps is accused of using the nonprofit's credit card for personal expenses including concert tickets, taxes, gift cards, and a luau in Hawaii and then falsifying documents to make it appear the card was being used to help children and families.
She faces up to 20-years in a federal prison and a 250-thousand-dollar fine if convicted.
