(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A Cedar Rapids teen is facing a charge of attempted murder in connection to the C Street shooting on October 9th.
Police arrested 16-year-old Amari McCray on Thursday. They say McCray shot 29-year-old Yadier Primero-Marquez in the back in the 22-hundred block of C Street Southwest. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he survived life-threatening injuries.
McCray is in the local juvenile detention center. Cedar Rapids police are still investigating the shooting.
