IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa football fans can start making their plans for next season as the Big 10 Conference is out with the Hawkeyes' 2023 schedule.
They open the season at home September 2nd against Utah State, travel to Ames the next Saturday (9/9) for the annual Iowa State matchup, then finish the non-conference schedule at home September 16th against Western Michigan.
The Hawkeyes open the Big 10 season on the road at Penn State on the 23rd, then come home for Michigan State on the 30th.
October sees Iowa home against Purdue on the 7th, at Wisconsin the 14th, back home against Minnesota the 21st, then a bye week on the 28th.
The last month of the season has Iowa at Northwestern on the 4th, home against Rutgers and Illinois on the 11th and 18th, then in Lincoln against Nebraska on Black Friday, the 24th.
