Omaha Area Drug 'Take Back' Numbers Released

Omaha Police say the Drug Enforcement Agency and OPD drug take back day at three locations Saturday netted a total of 26 trash bags totaling 592 pounds of prescription drugs, illegal drugs, and paraphernalia.

All items collected were turned over to the DEA for disposal.

The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office reports its collection event disposed of 183 pounds of prescription medications.
