(Iowa) -- The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says it's hiring Water Patrol Officers for the summer of 2023.
The DNR says the seasonal position requires:
- Must be age 18 or older
- Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must possess a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License
- Must pass a background check
- Must have the the ability to work in all environments, including weekends, nights, and holidays
The position pays $14.28 an hour with a Thursday through Monday schedule. The DNR says the hours vary based on the body of water. More information is available on the Iowa DNR website.
