In Nebraska, polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and voters will now decide a number of key races and issues.
Republican Jim Pillen is facing Democratic Party candidate Carol Blood in the Governor's race.
Voters will also decide on all three of the state's U.S. House seats as well as a ballot question to raise the state's minimum wage to 15 dollars per hour by 2026.
Polls across Iowa are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Iowans going to their polling places on this election day are reminded to bring identification.
