(Lincoln, NE) -- The Nebraska Supreme Court upholds the death sentence of convicted murderer Aubrey Trail. Trail was convicted in June 2021 of murdering Sydney Loofe back in 2017, dismembering her body and hiding it in Clay County. He appealed his death sentence but today the Supreme Court ruled his sentence is appropriate. Bailey Boswell was also convicted of murdering Loofe but was sentenced to life in prison.
