(West Des Moines, IA) -- Carrie Underwood, Ed Sheeran, and other stars will perform at the Iowa Speedway for the 2023 Hy-Vee IndyCar race weekend.
The Iowa-based grocery store chain announced the lineup of music acts Wednesday. The concerts will happen before and after the races on Saturday July 22nd and Sunday, July 23rd. Carrie Underwood and Kenny Chesney will perform on Saturday, and Ed Sheeran and Zac Brown Band will take the stage on Sunday.
More than 80,000 people flocked to Newton for this year's Hy-Vee IndyCar weekend. The concerts featured Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, Florida-Georgia Line and Tim McGraw.
Hy-Vee's Chairman of the Board and Executive Director Randy Edeker says in a press release the company worked to create "quite the spectacle in 2022," but says "we knew we could top our efforts when planning for 2023." Event organizers expect sellout crowds come July.
Ticket renewals for the event weekend start November 21st. Registration is open for a pre-sale opportunity before regular tickets go on sale December 5th.
