(Iowa City, IA) -- Graduation rates for student-athletes at The University of Iowa is on the rise.
The NCAA's annual report on academic successes across the country says the 88-percent of student-athletes in the 2022 class at Iowa graduated. That's up from years past. Student-athletes who went to Iowa from 2012 to 2015 graduated at a rate of 69-percent. In 2022, seven teams improved their score from last year and six other teams were at or above the national average in their sport. Two teams at Iowa graduated their entire class, softball and women's swimming and diving.
