Nebraska Trade Mission Focuses On Japan

This week, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts leads a trade mission to Japan to promote Nebraska agri-business products and sell the state as a destination for international investment.

The Governor and trade delegation will meet with government leaders, highlight Nebraska beef, pork, ethanol, and other ag products, and encourage Japanese businesses to invest in Nebraska.

Delegates on the mission include representatives from agri-businesses, state commodity organizations, the Nebraska Farm Bureau, the State Department of Agriculture, and the Department of Economic Development.

The itinerary includes meetings with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, and the U.S. Ambassador to Japan.
