(Omaha, NE) -- An Omaha man was sentenced Friday in federal court to four months in prison and one year of supervised release for a civil rights violation. 66-year-old Bruce Quinn pleaded guilty in October to one count of violating federally protected activities in Sarpy County court. Quinn admitted to making a noose out of twine and leaving it for a black fellow employee to find. 63-year-old Keith Kirksey made the discovery at Oriental Trading Company in June of 2020, where both men were employed at the time. Kirksey believed it was a threat on his life.
