Armed bank robbery reported in southwest Omaha

(Omaha, NE) -- The search is on for two suspects who robbed a southwest Omaha bank on Thursday.

Omaha Police say the armed robbery was reported just after 9:00 Thursday morning at the Bank of the West location near 168th and Harrison. Investigators say employees report that two black men entered the bank with guns, demanded money then fled the area.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Robbery Unit at 402-444-4600.
