Iowa Attorney General Finalizes Opioid Settlement With CVS and Walgreens

(Des Moines, IA) -- Iowa will get over $70 million from the finalized agreement with CVS and Walgreens over their role in the opioid crisis.

Attorney General Tom Miller and other Attorneys General accused the two pharmacy chains of ignoring red flags over opioid prescriptions and failing to prevent the abuse of the drugs.

CVS and Walgreens will pay over $10 billion nationally.
