Omaha Police investigate pair of separate, early Monday morning stabbings

(Omaha, NE) -- A pair of separate stabbings are under investigation by the Omaha Police Department.

Omaha Police say the first cutting was reported at an apartment near 60th and Sorensen Parkway around 12:30 Monday morning. Investigators say 32 year old LaSandra Parker was stabbed during a domestic disturbance. Police say Roykeyvius Spencer was arrested and booked into Douglas County Corrections 3rd-degree felony domestic violence assault.

OPD says the second stabbing came in around 5:00 Monday morning, when a cutting victim walked-in to Methodist Hospital. Police say 44 year old Ryan Thiele told officers that he confronted a Hispanic male who was rummaging through his car near 77th Ave and Burt. Investigators say a struggle ensued, the suspect pulled out a knife and then cut Thiele.
