UNL Chancellor Ronnie Green announces his retirement

(Lincoln, NE) -- The head of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln announces his retirement.

In a video message released on Tuesday, Chancellor Ronnie Green said that he plans to retire at the end of June 2023, or whenever a successor is hired. Green has served as U-N-L's Chancellor since 2016, and before that was the vice chancellor and vice president of the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources at UNL. Green says that the decision was made after some considerable reflection and consulting with his family.
