(Undated) -- Nebraska State Patrol troopers are getting raises. Today Governor-elect Jim Pillen announced an agreement with the State Law Enforcement Bargaining Council to increase troopers' pay by $5.43/hour to an even $30/hour. The raises take effect July 1st, 2024. Pillen says this is the biggest raise Nebraska State Patrol troopers have gotten in 20 years.
