(Lincoln, NE) -- Beau Ballard will become a Nebraska state senator next month. Today Governor Pete Ricketts and Governor-elect Jim Pillen announced Ballard will fill the District 21 seat held by Senator Mike Hilgers once he becomes Nebraska Attorney General in January. Ballard is a businessman and previously served as an aid to Hilgers.
