U.S. Air Travel Computer Glitch Impacts Omaha Eppley

As of 8 a.m. CST Wednesday, the Federal Aviation Administration says flights are again taking off and landing after a pre-dawn computer glitch caused the FAA to issue a "ground stop." on all flights across the United States.

Many delays and rescheduled flights are being shown on the Omaha Eppley Airport website, which can be found at: www.flyoma.com

The FAA said on its website that its "Notice to Air Missions" computer system had failed overnight.

The system provides vital information to workers involved in flight operations.

The investigation into the problem has started and the White House has been briefed.
