(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Avelo Airlines says it will temporarily its service at the Dubuque Regional Airport to the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids.
The airline says the Dubuque Regional Airport was unable to get approval from the Transportation Security Administration for its security plan in time for the Avelo's debut this week. Avelo says flights from Dubuque to Orlando will be depart from Cedar Rapids until the Dubuque Regional Airport is able to get TSA security certification.
The airline will offer a $100 credit for future flights to customers affected by the change.
