New Information On Omaha Area School Threats Investigation

The Omaha Police Department Assault Unit says they have made four arrests in connection with a school threats investigation this week.

Investigators say an 11 year old and a 12-year old have been cited for disorderly conduct.

A 15 year old male has been arrested on suspicion of Terroristic Threats, and an 18 year old female, identified as Itzel Bravo, has been booked into Douglas County Corrections on suspicion of Terroristic Threats.

Police say the post had named nearly a dozen elementary, middle, and high schools and referenced the date of "January 25th."

Omaha Police say the threats were not credible and were a hoax.

OPD encourages anyone with information about school threats or weapons at schools to contact the "Safe2Help Hotline" at (833) 980-7233 or at www.safe2helpne.org.
