Snow emergencies issued by CB, Pott. County ahead of Wednesday's storm

(Pottawattamie County, IA) -- Snow emergencies are declared for Council Bluffs and Pottawattamie County, Iowa ahead of Wednesday's expected winter storm.

Pottawattamie County and the City of Council Bluffs' snow emergencies will both run from 7:00 Wednesday morning through 7:00 Thursday night. Pottawattamie County says vehicles cannot be parked on or along any public County roadway during snow removal operations. The City of Council Bluffs says their Snow Emergency Parking Ban applies to all streets posted as emergency snow routes by the City. Under an Emergency Parking Ban declaration, cars parked on designated routes are subject to a fine and/or towing at the owner’s expense.
