(Windsor Heights, IA) -- Windsor Heights police are investigating a possible murder-suicide.
In a social media post, police identified the victim as Kristie Allen and the suspect as John Wilson. Allen was killed in her home Wednesday afternoon. Wilson was found dead from self-inflicted injuries later the same day.
Police say the two were in a domestic relationship, and that evidence indicates it was ending. They say evidence found near Wilson's body connects him to Allen's death.
The Division of Criminal Investigation continues to investigate the incident. Windsor Heights police say additional information will be shared as it becomes available for release.
