(Rock Island, IL) -- Alleman Catholic High School in Rock Island will not have a varsity football team for the 2023 season.
The school says it's seeing low participation in the program and is graduating 10 seniors this year out of its 30-person roster. School leaders say they will revisit the decision in the spring and do plan on resuming the varsity football program for the 2024 season.
