(Rock Island, IL) -- Rock Island Police say officers responded to three separate shooting incidents inside of an hour on Friday morning.
Police say the first report of shots fired a little before 5:45am in the 1000 block of 14th Street. Officers found evidence of the shooting at the scene, but no injuries have been reported, and no arrests have been made.
A little more than ten minutes later, police received reports of gunfire near 42nd Street and 20th Avenue. Once again, officers found evidence of gunfire, but no one was hurt.
Police say the third report of shots fired came in a little after 6:30am near 22nd Street and 12th Avenue. Investigators say two residences were hit by gunfire, but no one inside was hurt. Police say they do not believe that the residences were specifically targeted.
