Western Illinois University Looks To Raise International Enrollment

(Moline, IL) -- Western Illinois University is trying new ways to boost their international enrollment.

WIU took in a record 420 new international students in fall 2022, retaining 688 students across nearly 50 countries.

The university is looking to improve the number to at least 70 countries, using new partnerships with Caribbean nations to help meet the goal.

WIU also continues to offer scholarships to international and local students.
