(Moline, IL) -- Moline Police say two juveniles are in custody, accused of stealing a car and leading officers on a chase.
Police say officers responded to reports of a stolen car around 4pm Tuesday in the 700 block of 51st Street. Officers spotted the stolen vehicle on the way to the call, and police say the suspected car theives rammed a police car, then led officers on a chase. The pursuit went briefly into Rock Island, back into Moline, then ended in Rock Island near McCandless Park.
Police say the two suspects pulled over and fled on foot before being captured by Moline Police officers. The two suspects are a 15 year-old girl from Moline and a 15 year-old boy from Rock Island. As both suspects are minors, their names have not been released.
