(Davenport, IA) -- Davenport Police say one person is dead after a single-vehicle crash Thursday night.
Police say they received reports of the crash around 11:30pm in the 1300 block of Cedar Street. Investigators say they believe the vehicle was traveling at very high speeds, veered off the road, and hit a tree. The driver was killed in the crash, and the driver's name has not yet been released. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
