(Des Moines, IA) -- The family of Will Keeps says the founder of Starts Right Here has been released from the hospital.
Keeps was taken to the hospital in serious condition after the shooting at Starts Right Here, a program for at-risk teens, on January 23rd. The shooting left two teens dead, and Des Moines Police say they believe the shooting was gang-related. Two suspects are in custody.
A statement from Keeps' family says he's been released from the hospital and will continue recovery at home, though he will require several more procedures.
