Iowa Democratic caucuses no longer have first-in-the-nation status. On Saturday, the Democratic National Committee voted to bump Iowa and New Hampshire out of their long-held first positions.

South Carolina will hold the Democratic party's first presidential primary in 2024.

"The DNC has made their decision and America is worse off because of it," Governor Kim Reynolds said in a tweet.

Iowa Republican caucuses will remain first in the nation.
