A police report indicates a Villanova fan told Omaha police he was hit by a beer container at the Creighton - Villanova men’s basketball game Saturday in Omaha.
The 53-year old from eastern Pennsylvania said he was hit in the back of the head.
Villanova is located near Philadelphia, and is in the "Big East" Conference with Creighton.
The man contacted an Omaha Police officer in the arena, who brought in medical personnel to check the Wildcats fan.
The police report indicated the fan was wearing a "Villanova" sweatshirt.
