(Omaha, NE) -- Trash collection in Omaha is suspended on Thursday due to heavy snow and dangerous conditions.
The Omaha Public Works Department says that Solid Waste collections are suspended due to inclement weather and safety concerns. Public Works says that collections will be delayed by one day beginning Thursday, February 16th. Thursday’s area will be collected on Friday, and Friday’s area will be collected on Saturday. Residents are asked to make sure that carts are set out by 6 AM on the rescheduled day of collection to insure collection. .
Missed collections can be reported to the Solid Waste Hotline at 402-444-5238 after 7:00 PM on the scheduled collection day.
