Iowa Student Grad Workers Negotiate Contract With Board of Regents

(Iowa City, IA) -- The Iowa Board of Regents and University of Iowa Graduate Student Workers are negotiating a new contract.

Local 896 met Thursday at the University Capitol Center where they discussed raises to help increased living costs in Iowa City.

Local 896 will hold a closed session to discuss contract negotiations on February 27th.

The group says there are about 2,000 student grad workers.
