Iowa DOT: State Well-Equipped For Rail Emergency

(Ames, IA) -- The rail disaster in Ohio has a lot of people wondering, could that happen in Iowa?

The Iowa Department of Transportation's Rail Office says a recent study found good emergency coordination between the railroads, the state, and local emergency responders.

The department recommends local responders take advantage of emergency training offered by railroads.
