(Undated) -- High school organizers across Iowa are protesting anti-LGBTQ+ legislation this week with planned walkouts.
Iowa W-T-F, a youth-led organization, says students will walk out of their classrooms on Wednesday, March 1.
This comes as Iowa lawmakers move closer to banning gender identity from being taught to students in grades 3 and below.
Other laws would require teachers to tell parents about their children's gender.
