(Decorah, IA) -- Luther College is reducing its carbon emissions by 72%.
The college says its reduced emissions since its baseline was established in 2003, making the school on track to become carbon neutral by 2030.
Fifty-three percent of Luther’s energy comes from wind and solar power generated on campus.
The Luther College Wind Turbine, known as Darryl, generates about one-third of the electricity for the school.
