A plan to turn primary and general election days into Nebraska State holidays will be discussed at the State Capitol this week.
Several other state electoral proposals are also being considered, including one that would require in-person voting and photo-ID to vote.
Another proposal would allow voting by mail for people living in nursing or assisted living centers, and for registered uniformed military.
