Arrests In Omaha High Speed Chase

The Nebraska State Patrol arrests two people after a high speed pursuit in west Omaha.

Investigators say a state trooper tried to pull over a speeding vehicle Tuesday morning on the westbound West Dodge Expressway, but the suspects fled in the vehicle and led law enforcement on a chase at speeds over 100-miles-per-hour.

It all ended when the suspect vehicle stopped near 156th and Blondo.

The Patrol says 25-year-old James Speicher was booked for reckless driving, flight to avoid arrest, and possession of a controlled substance.

A passenger, 31-year-old Sabrina Toole Harris, was arrested for tampering with physical evidence.
