(Louisa County, IA) -- The Louisa County Sheriff’s office says a body was found in the Mississippi River near Wapello, Iowa, and New Boston, Illinois.
Police said the body of a man was discovered Tuesday by employees at Lock 17 on the Mississippi River.
The man has been identified and is being sent to Iowa’s State Medical Examiner’s Office.
No foul play is suspected.
