Iowa Bumblebee Tracking, Conservation Project to Launch This Spring

(Iowa) -- A regional community service project where volunteers can help track bumblebees will launch in Iowa this spring.

The Iowa Bumble Bee Atlas will allow volunteers to help track bumblebees to help with conservation. The Atlas will host several educational workshops to give volunteers the information they need to participate. Volunteers need to conduct at least two surveys between June and September and report their findings. The surveys are expected take about 45 minutes.
