Two Students Dead After Dallas County Crash

(Dallas County, IA) -- Two central Iowa students are dead and a third is injured after crash near Perry, in Dallas County. The Iowa State Patrol says the driver of a Toyota Camry lost traction in snowy conditions on Highway 141, and collided with a box truck. The crash happened around 7:45 this (Thursday) morning near Highway 141 and Diagonal Road. The names of those who died have not been released. The person injured was taken to Dallas County Hospitals. Post on the Perry High School Facebook page states that school counselors will be available to meet with students tomorrow.

The ISP says the highway was 100 percent snow covered at the time of the crash.

The 56-year old driver of the box truck was not injured.
