(Ankeny, IA) -- The Ankeny Fire Department says no one is seriously hurt after a fire at an apartment building Thursday morning.
Investigators say the fire was reproted around 10:30 Thursday morning at the apartment building located at 1514 NW 4th Street. Initial reports said several people had been exposed to smoke. Firefighters located the fire insdie a first-floor apartment and quickly contained it. None of the people exposed to smoke required treatment or transportation to a medical facility.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
